Georgia on My Mind -- Definitely a Capital of Political Incorrectness!

Harris County sounds like my kind of place. If it weren't so far from our children and grandchildren, I'd resettle there in a minute. I love this sheriff!

  1. Having read Archbishop Chaput's book, "Strangers in a Strange Land," my book group met last night and one of the most important things we agreed needs to happen going forward is the avoidance of "the herd" mentality and the commitment to speak truth always. This can be done with patience and meekness but it cannot be abandoned just because it would be easier to shut up and let the wicked win. We have a moral obligation to witness for what we believe.

  2. My husband saw this elsewhere and came in the kitchen to tell me we had to move to Georgia. He was kidding, of course, but so many of us realize this description of Harris County, Georgia could easily apply to where we grew up all over the US in the 50's and 60's.
